The sun was shining on as thousands of people flocked to soak
up a day of music, sun and fun at Party at the Park.
Glandford Park played host a feast of frivolity with acts
for everyone - from young dancers to more established acts,
such as chart-topper David Sneddon and Rachel's own band Crazy
Dayz.
The event, organised by the Scunthorpe Telegraph, Scunthorpe
United FC and Rachel had the crowds flocking in with 5000
people in attendance throughout the day.
Rachel compered the whole days events and also closed the
entertainment on the evening with her superb new band Crazy
Dayz. She summed up the spirit, saying. "Its a real treat
for Scunthorpe. Its been postponed once and its good to see
get it off the ground! Its a free event so everybody could
come down, have fun, and see the many different talents and
a variety of shows to keep everyone happy".
Scunthorpe United manager Nigel Adkins said: "Its been
a super day - the sun was shining and there was a lot of people
here".
